Man crush part #2

Okay, I wanted to finish. I really have to. I know that it's so boring on your part and I really do apologize, but Bonnie Hunt did this when her show first started. Her list was really cute. She even had the Brawny paper towel guy on the list. He is pretty "handy" to have around. Her list has Larry King on it(when I was little I thought his last name was live!!! :0 ) And also Mr. Brian Williams, very handsome man indeed.

Have you ever seen That Thing you Do!? Well he is the reason why I know every line, every look...just everything. Tom Everett Scott. Handsome young man, blue eyes, dark hair. And he's a drummer in the movie. Which Tom Hanks wanted them to learn how to play their respective instruments for the movie. I hope he still plays. Anyways...he's always had a soft spot in my heart. I watched the movie again, the other day. Oh my goodness why do I do this to myself. He is so charming and so handsome. It's like he's the perfect combination of boy next door and heart throb at the same time. I love it. I just wish he would come back to me!!! Hello Tom! Actually he speaks very highly of his wife...and what kind of threat am I?

This is Eddie Cahill. Detective Don Flack on the show. He is so handsome. The other night when Jordan and I watched, I noticed he's starting to gray. Wonderful, he's handsome and maybe might have some wisdom. I have enjoyed watching that New York attitude he just oozes out so well on the show. I mean, from the way he talks, the way he first walks on to the scene of a crime....I mean everything. I can't wait until tonight. Okay, I watch the show later in the week, like Saturday when there is NOTHING on TV. But still I watch. Ahh to live in New York and be arrested. :)

Alright, gonna add one for my mom. My mom is all about Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. I don't blame her. He's very handsome. Obviously strong and loves his daughter. What's not to crush on? I'm glad that he dropped that whole wrestling idea, cause watching just for him was not working for me. Those people are a mess. I can't knock the fans though...they are VERY dedicated. I'm excited he's hosting the Kid Choice Awards on Saturday and I will be recording that for my dear mom. He's beautiful, soft spoken and nice. Great idea for my mom, but I didn't say that.

Now, back to my list. Hmmm who should I say. Ahhh, the reason why I get up in the morning(besides m natural alarm clocks!) Sam Champion. Have you seen him on Good Morning America? OMG! Wow, it's too bad that they cut off some of the national weather when they send the feed back to our local KOMO station. I want to see him, Mr. Champion, as long as I can. He loves to travel. He enjoys cooking and dresses VERY well and has a fantastic smile. I so enjoyed how the hosts took a personality test to see what other jobs they would have done well at. His results were fantastic. I remember one was a family law judge. I would certainly go to court for him. But yes, I am glad this good news in the morning ;)

I need to start watching the X-Man movies. And why? Hugh Jackman of course. Talk about a triple threat. He can sing, he can dance, his smile is so inviting I love it! The Oscars were only fantatstic becaue of him. And maybe a work out like him wouldn't hurt me either. Although he hasn't given birth to two kids. I'm just saying. But he's nice eye candy.

Okay, last one. I sure do miss this young man on CSI. But last year, he decided to not be a good boy on the way home from a music festival. And so, the writers I guess got together over lunch and wrote his character off the show. Ouch. But I remember being a little girl and watching the "Again" video by Janet Jackson and seeing him. I was like wow, a black man with green eyes. And thus started my love affair with the combination. In fact I was hoping that Nathan would keep the green eyes he had in the hospital, but his eyes are beautiful none the less. But back to Gary Dourdan, I hope we see him somewhere again. I really do enjoy him. Nice voice...those eyes, I mean really where do I begin. Terrance Howard is a close second...and so is Michael Ealy. Whew, Michael deserves his own paragraph but I better keep this to my top ten man crush list. Where ever you are Mr. Dourdan you've got a lifetime fan outta of me!

Michael Ealy by the way!!

Thus concludes my man crush list for the beginning of 2009. Who knows who will top my list by my half birthday. Which is September 30th, and I do hold a mini party. I'm not ashamed to admit that. I think it's fun to have a great reason to celebrate, especially if the date falls on a Monday. I am glad you enjoyed this fun look at the man crush list. Please feel free to let me know who will make the next addition!

The Kids

I'm sure everyone could and would write about their children all day long. I know I could. We picked up Mom today(her car...my beloved Mustang gave up the ghost Sunday...more about that later on)and did a few things with her. Went to the store, Nathan said hi to everyone. When we got home to put everything away, I walked back into the living room to find Nathan here. In Nichelle's car seat of all places. I was like, quick where is the camera. I couldn't believe it. He's been picking that seat up for the last couple of weeks when we're ready to go out. Nathan is funny. If Mama or Nene(Grandma) can do it, he can too! He's not really copying Jordan cause he knows that's where the trouble comes from. Take that Jordan!

Nichelle's top teeth are going to come soon. :( Her top gums having been giving her some trouble for the past couple of days and I'm not a fan of it at all! I would like both of my children to be out of pain. Nathan has so many teeth in his mouth and it looks like Nichelle is following suit by teething more at the same time. But thank goodness for the power of touch, the power of nursing and the power of Tylenol. She does rather well with oral- jel(yes I've had to use it a couple of times already this week) Fingers crossed things go way better with things....

Took this picture after Nathan decided to climb on the couch. I was a little worried cause he just ran up there, but he was actually very gentle around Nichelle. Whew! They are really a great pair. I know they plot against me all day but at least they enjoy laughing and eat and talking with me too!

She stood up for herself!

Did I just type that? My daughter stood up for the first time today on her own. I was helping Mr. N have a snack or something I'm not sure because I am so in shock. We have a bumbo(google that if your not sure what it is), our little chair is purple. Mr. N  loves to sit in it despite his ever growing body. On Saturday The Diva  lifted her petite body up and stood upright. Today it was our coffee table. I just can not believe this woman. Actually I can believe her. Everyone else walks around her, why can't she. Mr. N  started walking around 9 and a half months(I hear that's early but I don't know, he was my 1st) so I'm sure she will to. Which will be such a big blessing since that car seat is starting to get a little on the heavy side. She's not a big girl at all, just that car seat is getting heavy. Good thing I can carry her huh? I'm glad that she is growing and that she's exploring the house and all the great things that can be found. With Mr. N  around, being the activities coordinator, we always have to eat food, or play with toys of give kisses. If you say no then it's like you've just lost the super bowl...seriously. But we love him just the same.

Yesterday I found out that her tooth broke through. Although I'm nursing nothing feels like I'm going to start leaking blood. Was that tooo too graphic? The Diva  will be 7 months on the 25th(Miss Curly's birthday) and I'm just so in shock. Her milestone in the teeth department was earlier than Mr. N's. He "cut" his first tooth at 7 and a half months. But he has made up for lost time. I swear Mr. N  has almost a full mouth of teeth. More than me I swear. But that's okay, get everything done in one setting I guess so we can move on to more calm experiences, I hope. The Diva  has done really well. All though, Sunday at church was pretty tough on her. She didn't want anyone to hold her, but me. Really hard to play piano in primary and hold a sad baby, but we made due. I was really ready to leave but then I said no, they need me. I wasn't there for the last 10 minutes of primary(please forgive me) but I think our dear Heavenly Father understands. I just kept a cool head and tried to comfort the princess as much as I could. I am glad that we have broken the tooth in and that we can start getting back to normal with her gums and everything. Ahh

Almost 1:30 in the morning...

YES, I am still awake. Only because it took forever to get Nichelle asleep. Poor thing is getting those teeth in. I can feel that the gums are making room for the teeth. Yes, I did my poor attempt at being a dentist tonight. I am a little afraid only cause I'm teething but that pain won't last long, I hope not.

I'm watching Critical Hour on the Discovery Health Channel. I really do enjoy these kind of shows. I am so bumbed out that ER is ending after 15 years. That's like my whole life here people. I will be 25 in....15 days. Oh boy it's getting close. I will actually write more late, I just got sleepy!

my lunch date with the joker

I'm sure you wondering how I know Batman's enemy, but I don't. I made homemade pizza last night and somehow the Joker, knew about it. See, he came to my house and had lunch with Nathan and I. Enjoy.

I have a man crush

For those of you wondering what a "man-crush" is, let me explain. It's the same thing as a "crush" only difference is you can clearly tell that the person you have this slight or serious(depending on the person) affection for. I have decided to come clean about a few men. You might even know some of them. But here is my top ten list. My person disclaimer....I'm not adding my husband cause A) I'm married to him; and B) It's not a crush cause I actually love him and he loves me back...so there's not wishing for the return of my affections. :) On to the list...in no real order.

President Dieter F. Uchtdorf. Man of God, ever so handsome. Funny, loves his wife and has dedicated his life to serving Heavenly Father. Is there anything else you need in a man? Not to mention he has green eyes and is a retired pilot. I have a feeling he'd be able to land a plane in water and have living survivors. *sigh* So handsome.

President Barack Obama. I don't think I need to explain.

Anderson Cooper. Night time reporter, silver fox. Intelligent, witty and just a tad bit of a sex symbol. He'll just never admit to that.
And a he's a fan of Elmo. There you go Miss Curly(Alexis) auntie knows what's up!

Before I move on with the list, I would just like to say that the old standards of Will Smith, Denzel, Brad Pitt or others were already mention at previous times so I don't have to add them to the list.

This is Gordon MacRae. Curly from
Oklahoma! If haven't seen the movie, have to watch it again. I watched it last night as I was knitting. He's so handsome. And that voice. Please. Ahh.

(I'll only torture with the top 5 I guess) Michael Buble. Oh my. My mom bought his cd as a gift for me, and I haven't...still haven't had it. It's been like 4 years. But I knew about this young man before anyone else did. In fact my little plan was to get married to him. But we wouldn't have my babies, and Nichelle wouldn't have blue eyes. I like the plan that happened. Although I do love you Michael.

My musicans

I should have known that the Princess would follow in Mr.N's example and want to express her views of this crazy world through music. Mom was over a couple of days ago and she crawled her way to the toy jungle, I mean chest. Next thing you know I hear this banging. And it had rhythm and it wasn't Mr.N. Who can it be? I'm sure we're have talent night pretty soon, at this rate. My goodness...

Action photo of actual bongo session.....boom boom boom!

Princess Power!

When it rains it pours...

I just wrote that title because it's raining at my house at the moment. I thought I would maybe get a break from the migraines this week, but last night my nose started running, my throat was so scratchy and uhh...well you get the rest. I have a cold. Boo. But at least I know I have a cold and know who gave it to me(Mr. Nathan). He's been teething like CRAZY these past few months. Like, I have lost count how many teeth he has now. I think it's almost uhh...15 16. That's a lot. And he's going to turn 18months on Friday. Whoa. Mom says I didn't teeth that fast, and don't ask Jordan's parents about any milestones. Now one can remember a thing. I think that's rather sad. Jordan's only going to be 26 this August, jeeze people show your age a little more will yeah? Anywho...Nathan has a mini cold at the moment with all the teeth coming in. He does really well considering that it's molar(which haven proven to take some time) and that's not fun.

We tried to start potty training. I haven't really been as consistent as I should be, but the migraine monster is not our family friend. We only really try once a day for now. Everyone is telling me how brave I am. There's not much I can do. Today Nathan tried to change Nichelle without me knowing. I think that's a hint. He takes his diaper off if Jordan goes to get him in the morning after we're all awake. Which is around 8 am. So we're having some interesting potty adventures around our house. Nate thinks the potty chair I got him is a toy, so I've used the potty lid on the big people potty(was that confusing?) and he actually stays there and we "talk" about going potty. I think we might get it pretty soon. He's going longer in between diaper changes(whew thank goodness) and enjoys sitting like momma. Fingers crossed cause here we go!

Nichelle, or Jelly Bean as I like to call her; is doing fantastic. She been telling us stories for about two weeks now. Before it was a babbler here or there but now it's like full on paragraphs. Nathan and her talk up a storm. I remember President Call came over last year and was like, you probably never let Jordan talk. He was wrong. People are always telling me that Jordan enjoys talking. This morning Jordan went, where did he learn how to talk so much? Hello???? But that's okay, I'm just the momma, I make sure everyone is fed, happy and color coordinated withing their own outfits. Ahh the adventures of my life...

I will write soon about the migraine update if I ever found out what's happening there!
