C I Shenanigans

(This photo is copied...it wasn't that bright when we went to dinner!)

Our dinner was really great all though at the beginning I didn't believe that we were having dinner there. My husband was joking around all week. "Ohh we're going to Jack in a Box(which wouldn't be bad, I know exactly what I like from there) and things like that. So I was like....I'm not eating here. Jordan's French Onion Soup was awesome. I ate some of the melted Swiss cheese on top, but the soup was a little too salty for me. But I'm a wimp. I wish I had remembered to take a picture of our main course but I was eating too much.

Our waitress was named Michelle. Now that I have a daughter named Nichelle I tend to pay attention to Michelle more. Maybe it's cause I can use a small crystal ball to see most people calling her Michelle(little cute kids are excused while learning her name!) In fact the other day I saw in my minds eye her trying to introduce her self to a boyfriend and the whole family saying her name as "Michelle". Ohh well, we try. Back to our dinner.....it was a great night before the heat wave. It was great being next to the water.

My favorite picture of the evening was Jordan and I waiting for the check. Which took like 15 minutes and I was ready for dessert. I'm not giving a bad review of the restaurant by any means...she just took forever getting back to us. As you can see Jordan went outside and took some pictures...I got some interesting looks from the table next to us...the normal I guess if you're bored with you party. I was glad to have some downtime to let my delicious meal actually find a spot to sit in my tummy. Her customer service skills slipped a hair so we decided to go to Dairy Queen! Mmmm Oreo Blizzard, my favorite! I was really impressed by my husband. I asked him I don't know how many times if we needed to dress up and he kept saying no. So before we left he actually had a shirt and some khakis on. It was a nice dinner, and I was a good girl and did what our Bishop asked us to do...don't talk about the kids! I rarely do talk about the kids if it's my husband and I. By then I'm usually snoozing...but you get the idea! Jordan's birthday is on August 11th, so maybe we'll go out to dinner again, maybe we'll attempt doing something with the kids too. Hard to do when the boss man works so many hours but here's hoping! I had a great time for my 3rd anniversay!

Grandma's favorite pictures

I did some photo shop work to this picture using Picnik. It's Grandma's favorite picture, all though she says every picture is her favorite. I'm no professional by any means but this program at least let's me pretend. To update everyone my husband got me a wonder Coolpix Nikon(and it's purple :D) for our anniversary. It's really cute and we took some fun pictures are our wonderful dinner(which is the next post). The last week and a half has been learning a new wonderful camera, Nathan loves the camera. He's been trying to hold it all week! So enjoy a few pictures along with me!

3 years

I can't believe that on Wednesday I will offically be Mrs. Hunter for 3 years. It was a great day. HOT! But a beautiful day. When we got to the temple it was 96 outside, so by the time we walked outside to take pictures it was 98. Whew, thinking about it now, I have no idea why I decided on long sleeves, but I'm not that big of a fan of my arms, so that's why I had long sleeves. My Grandpa was such a nice man that day and officated in the sacred ceremony. It was great having everyone there to support us. Jordan doesn't cry very often and he won't admit but he was emotional. Which is great to see. Who knew how much my life would change? But I'm glad I'm a wife(and a good one at that, I gave Jordan a shave last night) and that I get to have great fun being a mom!

Hello

I just haven't written to all of you in a few days. We're just done with breakfast which means crazy play time for Nathan. He bounces off the walls until lunch. My son NEVER sits down, unless SpongeBob is on and even then it isn't for long. Nichelle is definatly the tackler of the house, it's her way of making everyone on her level. She'll pull on your leg untill you're right there with her. She's quite strong for being so petite. Every where we go, and if she starts walking, people always comment on how petite she is. I can't stop her from walking, it's what she likes to do! The sun is out, summer is a great time of year and I am glad I have to healthy active wonderful kiddies! Talk to everyone soon!

Yeah America!

Hope everyone had a fun filled 4th of July. We did. Nathan got to stay up late being lulled to sleep by big booms going off everywhere. I got Nichelle to sleep and checked his room. He was still listening to his glow worm. Once I put the "baby" to sleep Nathan went right to sleep.

We had the missionaries over and they got stuff on our quickly put together menu of surf and turf. Elder Stevens is my buddy. He's from Jordan River, Utah and his birthday is in a few weeks. Maybe I'll make him some cupcakes. He's so funny. He was falling asleep while we were still eating. Poor baby was so hot during the day(they still chance to go door to door during the holiday hours)his cheeks were so pink. I'll have to make him stop eating long enough next time to take a picture with me.
Before the Elders came over, The kids helped me clean. Nathan even helped me moved the baby laundry degrent. I was very impressed. He helped out even more by placing more toys on the ground. We all help in our own ways. WE had a fun 4th! Blog soon.
